Former chair of the LMMI Management Committee, Dr. Philip Smith judged the LMM-themed entries in the Provincial Heritage Festival. The Festival is a learning opportunity for Island students in grades 5 through 9 that encourages them to do research and explore Canadian and Island history.

This year’s winner of the special prize in the “L.M. Montgomery” category is (pictured above) Sadie Cusack, from West Kent Elementary School, for her presentation on “Lucy Maud Montgomery.”

Congratulations, Sadie!
