Digital exhibition, “The Anne of Green Gables Manuscript: L.M. Montgomery and the Creation of Anne.”
The LMMI, UPEI’s Robertson Library, and the Confederation Centre of the Arts are proud to share the trailer for the upcoming digital exhibition, “The Anne of Green Gables Manuscript: L.M. Montgomery and the Creation of Anne.” Funded by Digital Museums Canada, the exhibit will share the fully digitized manuscript of Anne, along with articles and media that enrich and celebrate the text. During the LMMI 15th Biennial Conference, Elizabeth Epperly’s keynote (22 June, 7 PM, McDougall Hall 242) with Eri Muraoka, “Passionate Vision: L.M. Montgomery’s Revision of Anne of Green Gables and the Life Behind Hanako Muraoka’s Akage no An,” will share insights on the manuscript, and Emily Woster’s plenary paper (26 June, 10:45 AM, McDougall Hall 242), “Visions and Revisions in the Anne of Green Gables Manuscript,” will provide an exclusive, full sneak peek of the exhibit site to conference attendees.
